MetaTrader 5 experience and guide for beginners
The software is available in version 4 and 5. On this page I would like to go into detail about the 5th version and explain its features to you. You will learn a complete guide and a detailed tutorial in the following sections. Learn how MetaTrader 5 works.
Introduction to MetaTrader 5
MetaTrader 5 is a white-label software offered by many brokers. Download the platform from your Forex or CFD broker and install the program on your computer. MetaTrader can also be downloaded from the official site https://www.metatrader5.com/, but real money trading is not possible with this version.
The broker will send you the login details by email. You can create a demo account or a real money account and access the international financial markets. In the image below you can see a picture of the software:
Which broker to use for MetaTrader 5?
MetaTrader 5 is a very safe trading software and it is also important to choose a safe provider when choosing a broker. With more than 7 years of experience in the financial markets, I have already tested and selected many brokers. It is very important to make sure that the financial provider is officially regulated and licensed. In addition, it should have favorable trading fees and a wide range of financial products.
The following criteria speak for a good MetaTrader broker:
Regulated and licensed provider
Free demo account
Low minimum deposit
Large selection of markets
Low trading fees
Fast trade execution
No hidden costs
Which markets can be traded with MetaTrader 5?
The choice of markets depends on your broker. You can generally access Forex, CFDs, futures, ETFs or stocks as financial products with MetaTrader 5. This means that currencies, stocks, ETFs, government bonds, commodities, metals, cryptocurrencies and many more markets are tradable. Many brokers offer over hundreds of different markets for trading.
As mentioned above, mt4 can be used with different devices. You can log in with the same login details on any device. After installing the software, a window for logging in will automatically light up. If this window does not come you can click on the connection status at the bottom of the right corner.
The first important step: activate all markets
After logging in, you should perform the first important step that many traders do not know or forget. The market overview is already opened automatically, but not all markets are displayed. To access the full portfolio of the broker you need to click on “Show all” via a right click. Now you can access all markets.
